Fighting for Medical Freedom
There is a quiet war on natural medicines and holistic health care. This war takes place behind the closed doors of the legislative process and in special committees. Regulations and legislation are being written without citizen awareness. Regulations are written by appointees on various boards and is not voted upon by either the public nor our representatives. Legislation is suggested by these boards or public representatives, often supported by pharmaceutical companies and often approved by our representatives without our knowledge. These regulations and legislation will limit the maximum dose on supplements, hobble the compounding pharmacy industry and it's production of nutritional and natural medicines, and regulate natural medicines into extinction.
Vitamin companies are being purchased by large pharmaceutical corporations. Garden of Life vitamins was recently purchased by Nestle who is owned by Bayer which also owns Monsanto. Harbin Pharmaceuticals owns GNC brand vitamins. Rainbow Light brand vitamins are owned by Clorox which is owned by Proctor & Gamble Company. The list goes on and on. What would a pharmaceutical company put in your supplements? Bio-available, wild crafted, organic sources? Or pesticide laden, cheap synthetic chemicals, and inexpensive toxic fillers?
We must take action to stop losing our choices. Each regulation or piece of legislation removes another freedom in health care. By chipping away bit by bit at our choices , we don't see it coming until it's too late. But it isn't too late yet.
